For a getaway in the countryside of Orvault at the gates of Nantes. The La Retardière mill, built in 1817, is the only one still visible in the town of Orvault. It was used until 1921. A century after it was shut down, Sophie and Hubert, a couple of enthusiasts, bought the property, then simple agricultural land, from their family. With the help of their 4 children and the support of friends, they serviced and restored the mill barn, combining authenticity and modernity. Book your room now… The roomsThe mill of La Retardière offers two guest rooms on the ground floor, one of which is equipped for people with reduced mobility and a third in the attic of the barn. They each have their own bathroom and WC.
In the rooms, Red Oak and Ginkgo, through the huge bay windows that let in the brightness of natural light, you can admire the meadows where our 3 sheep from Ouessant live, the Mirabelle and Emeraude horses and the Pedro donkey. The room Les Trois Cèdres, located on the first floor of the barn, transports you to the foliage of the trees and invites you to daydream...The three bedrooms are all furnished with care in all sobriety and softness to welcome you and allow you to have a wonderful stay.
